Private slow travel planner
Choose several Spanish cities, your travel mood, your budget, and your pace. This planner creates a warmer, softer, and more personal route through Spain.
Curate my routeThe idea
Slow Trip Spain is not a normal travel website. It does not ask users to collect tourist spots quickly. Instead, it helps users build a personal itinerary based on city, mood, time, budget, food, and small preferences.
The goal is to make travel feel less rushed. Every route includes slower mornings, one meaningful afternoon focus, local food, warm evening walks, and empty time. The empty time is not missing content. It is part of the design.

Spain Food Guide
Food is not a break between attractions. In Spain, it can become the softest part of the trip: a small breakfast before walking, a long lunch under warm light, tapas shared slowly at night, and one sweet thing before the day ends.
Begin with something simple: coffee, toast with tomato, olive oil, or a small pastry. The morning meal should feel light and local, not rushed.
Treat lunch as a main travel moment. Choose paella, seafood, market food, salmorejo, tortilla, or a slow local menu. Do not schedule too much after it.
Dinner should feel social and unhurried. Order small plates slowly: croquetas, jamón, olives, grilled seafood, patatas bravas, and local wine.
End with a small sweet moment: crema catalana, churros con chocolate, piononos, torrijas, or horchata with fartons.
Pan con tomate, seafood tapas, crema catalana, market lunch, and beachside dinner.
Churros con chocolate, tortilla española, croquetas, jamón, and tapas in La Latina.
Salmorejo, spinach with chickpeas, fried eggplant with honey, jamón, and local wine.
Tapas culture, gazpacho, grilled vegetables, local wine, and piononos.
Paella Valenciana, seafood rice, horchata, fartons, and relaxed beach dinners.
Food Gallery
A slow trip should include food as atmosphere: not just what to eat, but when to eat it, where it fits into the day, and how it changes the rhythm of travel.
Best treated as a long lunch, not a quick meal. It fits a slower day because it asks you to sit, wait, share, and stay.
Small plates make dinner feel social and flexible. Order slowly instead of deciding everything at once.
A soft morning or late-night sweet moment, especially with thick hot chocolate.
A cool, gentle pause for warm days. Pair it with fartons and make it a small afternoon ritual.
Works best near the sea, after walking by the water, when the day already feels open and bright.
Markets are not only for eating. They are for observing color, sound, produce, people, and local rhythm.

Where to stay
Slow Trip Spain recommends smaller stays, quiet neighborhoods, warm rooms, walkable streets, and hotels that support a slower body rhythm. The stay is not only where the traveler sleeps. It becomes part of the route.
